- How do you calculate dose delivery accuracy? Divide in-tolerance doses by total doses tested and multiply by 100. With 8 in-tolerance out of 250 tested, accuracy is 8 / 250 x 100 = 3.2%.
- What is a good dose delivery accuracy for veterinary devices? A validated metering device should deliver 98%+ within tolerance, often 99%+ for critical products. A 95% target is a floor, and the 3.2% in this example indicates a serious metering or calibration failure.
