Can a sponsor change what a calculator says?

No. Sponsors have no access to formulas, inputs, defaults, results, rankings, or editorial content, and no advertiser code runs on the page. The unit sits below the results and is labeled as sponsored.

Do you publish traffic numbers?

Not on this page. Traffic is specific to each category, so we share current figures for the category or calculator you are considering when you ask, rather than quoting a site-wide number.

Is every visitor a manufacturing professional?

MFG Calcs sells one kind of advertising: a sponsorship. Your logo, a few sentences in your own words, and a link, shown on one calculator category or on one calculator for a flat monthly rate. Each placement has one sponsor at a time, and no sponsor can change what a calculator computes.

Rates

Marquee Category Sponsorship: $1,500 a month. Your sponsor unit on the category page and below the results of every calculator in one of the ten marquee categories, such as UV curing, welding, CNC machining, or injection molding.
Standard Category Sponsorship: $850 a month. The same placement as a marquee category, on any of the other categories: the category page and below the results of every calculator in it.
Single Calculator Sponsorship: $150 a month. Your sponsor unit below the results of one calculator of your choice, in a category no one else sponsors.

Below the results on every calculator in the sponsored category, and beside the introduction on the category page.
For a category sponsorship, a small Presented by credit on the category's embeddable calculator widgets, and a named, linked credit in its Excel workbooks and calculation API responses.

Sponsorship policy

Sponsors never touch the math. A sponsor cannot change a calculator's formula, inputs, defaults, results, rankings, search order, forecasts, data, or any editorial content. Sponsorship buys a labeled place on the page, never an answer.
Every placement is labeled. Units on the site carry a sponsor label and the disclosure line quoted below; the compact credit on an embedded calculator reads "Presented by". Sponsor links are marked rel=sponsored, and paid material is never presented as an organic recommendation.
One unit per calculator, after the result. A calculator page shows at most one sponsor unit, placed below the results. It never interrupts inputs, covers content, or blocks the calculation.
First-party delivery only. Sponsor creative is served by MFG Calcs. No advertiser scripts, tracking pixels, auctions, pop-ups, autoplay media, or cross-site behavioral targeting.
Relevant sponsors only. A sponsor must be relevant to the category or calculator it appears on. There is no programmatic inventory and no unrelated consumer advertising.
Limited reporting. What a sponsor receives is impression and click counts by placement, category, and calculator. Calculator inputs and results are never part of sponsor reporting.
Claims can be refused. Creative must be accurate. A blurb or link can be rejected or removed when its claims are misleading or unsupported, and a campaign that conflicts with this policy can be suspended or ended.
Disclosure line on every unit: Sponsorship supports free access to MFG Calcs. Sponsors do not control calculator formulas, results, rankings, forecasts, or editorial content.

How to start

Go live, then see the counts. The unit runs for your whole term. We count an impression when at least half of the unit is on screen, count clicks, and share both with you.
