U.S. aluminum imports totalled $2.7 billion in July 2026, down 8.7% on the month and up 49.2% on the year. The common full-year customs-unit-value comparison (2025 over 2024) shows: aluminum articles customs unit values fell 24.0%, and aluminum semi-finished products customs unit values rose 3.7%. These aggregates can also move with product, grade, origin, valuation, or quantity mix.
