U.S. copper imports totalled $3.7 billion in July 2026, up 58.9% on the month and up 16.2% on the year. The common full-year customs-unit-value comparison (2025 over 2024) shows: copper semi-finished products customs unit values rose 3.3%. These aggregates can also move with product, grade, origin, valuation, or quantity mix.
